Some of the Items
There were several items in this years entries for the contest. More food than anyone could possibly consume in one setting. It sure was good as always.
There is a better number of participation this year, but don't let that fool you. We need to start thinking about next years convention. We need your input to get the concerns that need to be addressed and noticed. Maybe we can make the difference on important issues in this state.

Scott Boyd has assumed the duties of the Meat Program Administrator for the Colorado Dept. of Agriculture (CDA). Steve Bornmann recently held that position and remains in our agency, but now has different duties. Scott was a CDA inspector for 24 years in the Alamosa and Pueblo areas. The past 4 ½ years, he has been the Supervisor of the 12 Multiple Inspectors, who perform inspections in the Meat, Weights and Measures, Egg, Feed, Fertilizer, and Anhydrous Ammonia programs. He retains those supervisory duties, in addition to the duties of the Meat Program. Scott looks forward to working with the custom meat processing industry in Colorado.
